Probably one of the saddest parts of me taking my journey into the Catholic Church is the loss of support from many friends of Stand True – Christ Centered Pro-life. With my announcement I know that a large chunk of financial support has disappeared, much more will probably follow. Much of our funding came from protestant ministers, churches and lay people who are not happy about this.
I want to make it very clear that the while I have returning to the Catholic Church this does not change the focus of the work of Stand True- Christ Centered Pro-life. We have always worked with both Catholic and Protestant youth to build a culture of life and bring an end to abortion. We will continue to reach out to all Christians and work with all Christian churches in this endeavor.
Stand True is a pro-life organization and will follow the teaching of the Catholic Church on all matters of life and contraception; something we have actually done since day one. You will probably see more of a Catholic flavor to Stand True but we will always be welcoming to all Christians just as we have been to Catholics in the past. Stand True’s commitment to educate, equip and activate the youth of the world with the pro-life message will not change.
